Shipping & returns
Every piece is wrapped and boxed by hand in La Pointe. Here is how it gets to you, and what to do if it is not right.
How we pack
Rocks and gems are wrapped individually and cushioned so nothing touches. Polished faces get an extra layer. Jewelry ships in a small box, ready to give.
Larger specimens may ship in a double box. If a piece needs special handling, we will reach out before it goes.
When it ships
Orders are packed within 2 business days. Open Bid wins ship once the Shopify checkout is paid.
Madeline Island is reached by ferry, so in winter, when the lake freezes and the ferry stops, shipping can take a few extra days. We will let you know if weather holds up your order.
Cost and carriers
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout from the weight of your pieces and your address. Every package ships with tracking, sent to your email.
We ship within the United States. For international orders, call 715-747-5602 and we will work it out with you.
Returns
If a piece is not what you expected, contact us within 14 days of delivery. Send it back in the condition it arrived and we refund the price of the piece once it reaches us.
Auction wins and custom jewelry are final sale, unless the piece arrived damaged.
Damaged or lost
If something arrives broken, take a photo of the piece and the box before you unpack further, then contact us. We will file the carrier claim and make it right.
